Tropical Fruit Brandy or Eau-de-vie?
Union Jake's - Tropical Fruit Distillery

Deep in the heart of the Grenadines, on rustic Union Island, one distillery is merging European techniques with the Caribbean's forgotton sugars to craft fine, tropical fruit brandy and liqueurs.

Union Jake's is the first distillery in the Grenadines and the only distillery in the Caribbean dedicated to creating a wide variety of pure tropical fruit spirits - or eaux-de-vie.  We take no short-cuts.  We do not flavour alcohol purchased from other distilleries.
To fill one 375ml bottle with tropical fruit brandy requires about 30 pounds of fruit so we receive hundreds of pounds of Vincentian fruit from our farmers weekly.  After ripening, only the most flavourful fruits are selected for fermentation.  Our mashes are prepared without the use of machines.  Distillation occurs milliliters at a time over an open fire.  And, local artisans hand paint each bottle.  While the costs in time and money are high, the resulting quality is undeniable.  Union Jake's distillates epitomize Caribbean luxury.

Due to the seasonality of Vincentian fruit and our unwavering attention to detail, the availability of our limited edition bottles change.  Don't miss your opportunity to try our
Winter 2013 releases.
